PURPOSE: To inspect a color print by using a quadri-spectral camera obtained by providing four image-sensing elements outputting detection signals corresponding to the quantities of received light of different wavelength components and by forming a color visible image and a near infrared image of a subject by processing the detection signals.
CONSTITUTION: An objective optical system 3 is made a lens-barrel module 8 and a spectro-optical system 4 and image-sensing elements 5 are integrated into a spectral image-sensing module 9, while a part 6 for processing, inclusive of formation of an image 7, is integrated as a circuit module 10. The spectral image-sensing module 9 is formed integrally as a quadri-spectral prism. The spectral image-sensing module 9 (quadri-spectral prism) and the circuit module 10 are held in a frame 12, while the lens-barrel module 8 is set in the front of the frame 12. A stage-shaped reference plane is formed on the front side of the frame 12. Light from a light source 15 is cast on a subject 2 directly or through a filter 16.
