Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the reception of signal by receiving a radio wave by a slit between a car body and a conductor provided onto a quarter glass face.

CONSTITUTION: The conductor part 2 being a glass antenna imbedded on the surface of the quarter glass 1 of an automobile is in parallel with the left/right sides of the glass 1 and the upper end consists of the 1st and 2nd conductor parts 2a, 2b provided on the intermediate height of the glass 1 and the 3rd conductor part 2c connecting upper ends of both the conductor parts 2a, 2b. A radio wave is received in terms of a potential difference caused across the slit 3 between the conductor 2 imbedded on the quarter glass 1 and the car body 5 and a reception signal is led through a feeder 4 to a receiver. Thus, the radio wave is received excellently without being affected by the body 5.
