PURPOSE: To reduce the energy caused by a displacement of the thickness direction which propagates to a lead from the basement of an oscillator, by inserting an additional mass into the area between the turning fork basement and the lead.

CONSTITUTION: A plate 4 made of an insulated material like glass, quartz, etc. is put into the area between the basement 3 of a tuning fork type quartz oscillator 1 and a lead 2 fixed at a plug 5. Then the solder 6 is used to fix these component parts. As a result, the part displaced in the thickness part at the part 3 is suppressed by the plate 4 which functions as an additional mass. This reduces the oscillation energy propagating to the lead 2.
