Abstract:
To provide a motor with concentrated winding which is compact and has high power density.
The manufacture of a stator core or a rotor using a spirally-wound band-shaped steel plate is achieved by curving the band-shaped steel plate 400. In the band-shaped steel plate 400, the radially inner section of a middle yoke 400A between two salient poles (or teeth) 1010 adjoining each other is curved. By this curvature, the radially inner section of the middle yoke part 400A projects axially. Hereby, the manufacture becomes simple.
