In a radiation image capturing system 1, a radiation image detector 107, in the pre-photographing, reads an area including a subject H in a detection part 107a at predetermined line intervals to obtain a pre-photographic image and, in the main photographing, reads all the lines in the area including the subject H in the detection part 107a to obtain the main photographic image. A console 200 corrects the unevenness in pixel signal values occurring between the position corresponding to the line read in pre-photographing and the position corresponding to the line which is not read in pre-photographing, and displays thereof on a display part 213.
