To provide a radiation shield window facilitating the exchange work of a hot side cover glass and gasket placed inside (hot side) the radiation shield window.
A hot side cover glass 2 tightened and fixed airtightly to the outer metal frame 1 of the radiation shield window with a tightening tool 7 via a gasket 10 is supported rotatably around a vertical axis between a closing position for installing to the outer metal frame 1 and an opening position for exchanging and taking out by a female and male hinges 4, 5 capable of inserting to and detaching from the outer metal frame 1. With a handling means placed in the hot side room, it is made possible to release the tightening of the tightening tool 7 and to exchange and install the hot side cover glass 2. The gasket 10 is provided with a keeping frame 15 for keeping the shape so that the gasket 10 can be independently exchanged and installed against the frame 3 of the hot side cover glass 2 via the keeping frame 15 using the handling means placed inside the hot side room.
