Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication module with improved communication performance in a closed space surrounded by conductive walls.SOLUTION: A radio communication module includes: an antenna placed on a first conductive wall of a plurality of conductive walls surrounding a closed space; a tag reader for reading an RFID tag existing inside the closed space via the antenna; and a reflecting section having a thin-film shape or plate shape placed between the first conductive wall and an opposite second conductive wall. The closed space is divided into a first space at the first conductive wall side and a second space at the second conductive wall side by the reflecting section. The position of the reflecting section is determined between the first conductive wall and the second conductive wall so that a first reflection wave which is a radio wave radiated by the antenna after output from the tag reader is reflected by the reflecting section and passes through the first space will be cancelled out with a second reflection wave which is a radio wave radiated by the antenna transmits through the reflecting section, passes through the second space, is reflected by the second conductive wall, transmits through the reflecting section, and passes through the first space.
