Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless device which suppresses antenna gain in other than a specific direction, while keeping a high antenna gain in the specific direction.SOLUTION: A wireless device includes an antenna, a focus section, and a radio absorptive material. The focus section has at least a first region and a second region where one region transmits radio waves and the other region intercepts radio waves or changes the phase thereof. In the plan view fro the antenna, the first region has a circular shape. In the plan view fro the antenna, the second region has an annular shape having the diameter of the first region as the bore diameter. The antenna is located on the medial axis of the circle of the first region. The radio absorptive material exists at least partially between a first plane perpendicular to the medial axis where the antenna exists, and a second plane perpendicular to the medial axis where the second region exists, and is located at a position separated more than the outer boundary of the annular ring in the second region from the antenna, in a first direction perpendicular to the medial axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
