PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reception characteristics when using one control signal to control gains of signals received from a plurality of antennas.
SOLUTION: A plurality of radio units 2 control gains of reception signals inputted via a plurality of antennas 1 and output the reception signals. A plurality of conversion means 3 converts the signals from the plurality of radio units into digital signals. A selection means 4 estimates reception characteristics in the case of composing and demodulating the reception signals and selects a pair of digital signals having excellent reception characteristics. A control means 5 controls a gain of each of radio units connected with conversion means that perform conversion into the selected digital signals. A calculation means 6 inputs the digital signals which are selected after the gain control, and calculates a weight for each digital signal so as to improve the reception characteristics. A composition means 7 multiplies, for each digital signal, the digital signal by a weight corresponding to the digital signal and composes a plurality of multiplied digital signals. A demodulation means 8 demodulates a composed digital signal.
