Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio system that is provided with pluralities of information repeaters interconnected by an optical signal and pluralities of radio terminals in radio channel connection to each information repeater so as to realize mutual information transmission reception by the radio terminal equipments at a low cost with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: When an information repeater 1 receives a transmission radio wave from a radio terminal in radio channel connection from an antenna 10, the radio wave is given to an optical modulator 14 via a transmission reception changeover switch 11 and a reception amplifier 12, where the radio wave signal is optically modulated and the optical signal modulated from a light emitting device 15 is sent to an optical fiber 3 via an optical demultiplexer 17. Furthermore, the information repeater 1 receives the optical signal sent from the optical fiber 3 at a light receiving device 16 and converted into an electric signal and the signal is sent from the antenna 10 via a transmission amplifier 13 and the transmission reception changeover switch 11 and the information signal is sent to the radio terminal equipment.
