Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make an indication of usability only when a user is judged to be within the range making a use of a cordless telephone set and to make an indication of unusability when judged to be outside the range.
CONSTITUTION: When the user of the slave unit is within the range of the radio wave of a cordless telephone, the slave unit can receive an ID code signal from a master unit so that a detection section 10 detects the reception of an ID code signal to direct the end of the reception to a discrimination section 12. The discrimination section 12 gives an indication of usability to a control section 11, and a display section 1 displays the indication of usability. The user makes a phone call through a cordless radio section 6. In case the slave unit is outside the range of the radio wave, the detection section 10 can not detect the reception of the ID code signal, giving the indication of unreception. The section 12 makes an indication of unusability to the section 11, displaying the indication of unusability. Thus, the user is judged to be without the range of radio wave.
