Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time and labor of a user involved in rewriting information on a communication common carrier in a subscriber identification card.SOLUTION: A radio terminal can perform communication by using a base station of a communication common carrier identified based on information on the communication common carrier stored in a subscriber identification card. The radio terminal includes: an attachment unit for a subscriber identification card that allows information on a communication common carrier to be rewritten; and a control unit that, when a broadcast distribution message which can be received by terminals of a plurality of communication common carriers including a first communication common carrier is received from a base station of the first communication common carrier, rewrites and changes information on a communication common carrier stored in the subscriber identification card attached to the attachment unit into the information on the first communication common carrier according to a message type in the broadcast distribution message.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
