Abstract:
To satisfactorily receive a radio wave including prescribed information such as time information.
This time piece device 10 is provided with two pairs of antennas 11A, 11B and radio wave time, piece receivers 12A, 12B, and the present time is displayed based on the time information provided from either of the antenna 11A or 11B having high signal intensity selected therefrom. The two pairs of antennas are favorably arranged to be orthogonal with each other so as to provide stably a satisfactory receiving condition. The receiver 12A or 12B for obtaining the time information is allowed to be selected based on an error of a pulse width of a pulse signal received in the two pairs of the antennas 11A, 11B and the receivers 12A, 12B.
