The radiographic image photographing apparatus includes a small focus radiation source 1 for emitting radiation to a subject 3; a subject-holding member 2 for holding a subject; and a radiographic image detector 4 for reading radiographic image information based on radiation transmitted through the subject, and photographs the phase contrast of the subject held by the subject-holding member, wherein the radiographic image detector is a fluorescent substance plate containing stimulable fluorescent substance, and the maximum wavelength of the stimulable luminescence of the stimulable fluorescent substance is 400 to 450 nm.
