Abstract:
To provide a rail cutter which can cut a metal rail and can be carried easily.SOLUTION: A rail cutter includes: a cutter body 1 having a support frame 10, a fixed blade 20 fixed to the support frame 10 and formed with a fixed blade holding hole for holding a rail 60, and a movable blade 30 which is pivotably supported by the fixed blade 20 and formed with a movable blade holding hole 31 which communicates with the fixed blade holding hole and holds the rail; and a cutting mechanism which causes the movable blade 30 to rotate while sliding relative to the fixed blade 20 in order to cut the rail 60 held by the movable blade holding hole 31 and the fixed blade holding hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
