Title:
RAILROAD SWITCH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3822442
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad switch capable of preventing a switching defect of a branching device.
SOLUTION: When a second lock piece 25 is driven in a state to slip a position between a notch section 18a and a projection 25a, pushing force for pushing the projection 25a against the notch section 18a does not forcedly push the projection 25a into the notch section 18a because a buffer spring 29a buffers the pushing force. When a position of the front end of a tongue rail finely moves by temperature variations or the passing of a train or the like, the side of the notch section 18a is strongly brought into contact with the side of the projection 25a to adhere to each other. Then, when an action lever 15 is operated in the direction D for switching the tongue rail, a cam follower 28b forcedly gets out of the notch section 18a parallel to an inclined plane by engaging with operation of the action lever 15. As a result, since the second lock piece 25 is moved in the direction D to forcedly get the projection 25a out of the notch section 18a, the fault in a switchover can be prevented from catching the projection 25a in the notch section 18a.
