This rain gutter supporting tool comprises a mounting rod 1 which is fixed to a front of a house or the like, a gutter supporting tool body 2 which is connected to the mounting rod 1 and is equipped with a gutter ear hooking part 21 for hooking an ear part of a gutter T, and a connecting shaft 3 for connecting the mounting rod 1 with the gutter supporting tool body 2. In the gutter supporting tool, a connecting hole 13 (24) which penetrates in the longitudinal direction of the gutter T and in the horizontal direction is formed in one side of the mounting rod 1 or the gutter supporting tool body 2, a connecting hole 24 (13) which is overlapped on the connecting hole 13 (24) is formed in the other side thereof, and the connecting shaft 3 is formed to penetrate through these both connecting holes 13 and 24 and connected therewith.
