To achieve high quality in communication by performing efficient rake synthesis with the maximum ratio synthesis even if simultaneously processing a signal where an amplitude ratio between a channel for channel estimation and that for data demodulation is different from each other.
Signals from first and second base stations in signals obtained by each of fingers 4-1 to 4-n are given to each of synthesizers 52-1, 52-2 for synthesis and the signal for each base station is obtained. The signals are individually amplified by amplifiers 53-1, 53-2 before being synthesized by a synthesizer 54. Additionally, at DPC measurement sections 56-1, 56-2, the reception amplitude ratio between the channel for channel estimation and that for data demodulation is measured for each of the first and second base stations. Gain control sections 57-1, 57-2 set each gain when the signals of the first and second base stations are amplified according to the reception amplitude ratio regarding the first and second base stations.
