PURPOSE: To range tiles so that the kinds of tiles are almost evenly dispersed by reciprocating suckers, which are arranged as the tiles in a ranging frame are and form one set out of a plurality of pieces and are the same number of sets as the kinds of the tiles, between a stock part and a placing position.

CONSTITUTION: When a ranging frame 2 moving on a carrying conveyor 1 reaches a placing position 10 on the start end side, of a plurality of tiles TL, TR of the same kind staying in stock parts 15L, 15R corresponding to the placing position 10, only the tiles in a determined position are sucked by suckers 21R, 21L, and placed in the ranging frame 2 with the arrangement as it is. When the ranging frame 2 reaches the next placing position 10, several pieces of tiles TL, TR different in kinds stayed in the corresponding stock parts 15L, 15R are sucked by the suckers 21L, 21R and placed on the arrangement frame 2. When the ranging frame 2 passes all the placing positions 10, determined kinds of tiles TL, TR are placed in a determined position of the ranging frame 2, and the arrangement of the tiles is completed.
