In molding and solidifying rare earth-iron magnet material powder together with a binder, a liquid binder having a viscosity of 10 to 400 poise at a room temperature is used as the binder, and the rare earth-iron based magnet material powder is molded and solidified together with the binder. Thus, a rare-earth bonded magnet is provided from a compact such that the ratio by weight of particles having a grain size smaller than 32μm in grain size distribution of rare-earth magnet material powder particles in the compact is 5-60%.
