Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a rare short diagnostic device for elevator rotating machine capable of disposing the rare short of the rotating machine without pausing the operating service of an elevator.
CONSTITUTION: An AC voltage is applied from an AC power source 8 to a rotating machine coil of an elevator rotating machine 2 which detects that an elevator is stopped, a coil current passing the rotating machine coil is detected by a current detector 9, an impedance calculated from the detected coil current and a reference value of the impedance in normal condition are compared with each other by the judgment means of a control microcomputer 10 and, based on the difference, the presence or absence of rare short is judged.
