Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a gene having a specific amino acid sequence and coding rat IL-1β.
CONSTITUTION: Rat IL-1β is produced in a mass by a genetic engineering technique using a gene having an amino acid sequence of formula. The gene can be produced by preparing a DNA from an mRNA derived from a rat IL-1β- producing cell, connecting the DNA to a proper vector such as plasmid vector of Escherichia coli, proliferating in a microbial cell, separating a clone capable of expressing rat IL-1β and separating a DNA obtained by inserting the separated clone into a plasmid.
