PURPOSE: A raw soybean powder food useful for preparing TOFU (bean curd) substitute, having improved nutritive value, effects such as nutrition, robustness, etc., showing good palatability and taste, obtained by blending soybean powder with wheat flour and adlay powder in a specific weight ratio.
CONSTITUTION: 80wt% soybean powder is blended with 15wt% wheat flour and 5wt% adlay powder, to give the desired raw soybean food. An amount of the soybean powder can be reduced from 80wt% to 75wt% and 5wt% proper calcium food powder such as powder of fish and shellfish can be added to it in case of necessity. 100pts.wt. of the prepared raw soybean powder food is blended with 0.5pt.wt. water, kneaded, cooked by steaming or boiling, to give a substitute for TOFU (bean curd), TENPURA (Japanese deep-fat fried food), fried food, etc.
