An RDF combustion method is adapted such that RDF is combusted in a fluidized bed furnace 1, and a fluid medium discharged from the fluidized bed furnace 1 is separated and collected from combustion gas in a cyclone 2, and further the collected fluid medium is returned to the fluidized bed furnace 1 through a fluid medium reflux flow passage 3. An RDF insertion hole 20 is formed in the fluid medium reflux flow passage 3, and RDF is introduced into the fluid medium reflux flow passage 3 from the RDF insertion hole 20. The RDF is ground in the fluid medium reflux flow passage 3 with the fluid medium returned to the fluidized bed furnace 1 from the cyclone 2.
