To provide a multifunctional and convenient reading desk which can be used even in a seated position or with the face upward, by which the adjustment of inclination of a book and the good opening condition thereof can be maintained, and also when the opening direction of the book is downward, the fall prevention and the turning over the pages of the book can be easily carried out, and also which can be used as a tracing table or a writing desk.

A back plate 2, a book-fall preventive flange plate 3, and handles 4 for commonly using as a desk stand are fitted to side plates 1, and also slider plates 6 by which the positional adjustment can be made in accordance with the size of a book, and opening fixing members 5 are fitted thereto. A two-leg type stand 7 capable of adjusting both the height of the reading desk and the fitting angle thereof is also incorporated. Further, book binding part pressing members 8, 9 for preventing the fall of a book are fitted, and a light-transmitting back plate 2 capable of being used as a tracing table is fitted, or a reflecting plate is fitted.
