Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject reagent composed of a phospholipid, a phospholipase D, a choline oxidase, a surfactant and a bivalent metal salt and capable of continuously determining the calcium ion concentration in body fluid such as blood and urine with simple operation in high accuracy.
CONSTITUTION: The objective reagent is composed of a phospholipid (preferably lysolecithin), a phospholipase D (preferably originated from microorganism), a choline oxidase (preferably originated from microorganisms belonging to Arthrobacter globiformis, etc.), a surfactant (e.g. sodium laurylsulfate) and a bivalent metal salt (preferably manganese chloride or zinc chloride).
