In a reagent for measuring creatine kinase activity containing a thiol compound or a method for measuring creatine kinase activity, the reagent contains an oxoacid comprising sulfur as a central atom such as sulfoxylic acid, sulfurous acid, thiosulfurous acid, thiosulfuric acid, dithionous acid, disulfurous acid, dithionic acid, disulfuric acid, a polythionic acid, or its thio-acid or its salt.
