Abstract:

PURPOSE: To permit the efficient use of the space of a car room by effectively utilizing the gap between a rear end panel and a rear bumper.

CONSTITUTION: As for a spare tire 3 accommodated in a spare tire accommodation part 2, the rear edge part 3a is inserted into an opened port part 5 formed on a rear end panel 4, and the rear edge part 3a is covered by a cover member 7 from the rear side, and a rear bumper 6 is installed in proximity with the cover member 7. In the spare tire accommodation part 2, a spare tire lifting-up means for lifting up the spare tire 3 in the case when the rear edge part 3a of the spare tire 3 is pressed, together with a tray 8 for placing-supporting the spare tire 3 is installed. Accordingly, even if the rear bumper 6 presses the rear edge part 3a of the spare tire 3 in a light collision, the spare tire 3 is lifted up, and the car body is prevented from being deformed.
