To provide a rear vehicle body structure of a vehicle capable of improving the rigidity of a suspension tower part which is a suspension mounting part while improving the rigidity of a rear deck part by a simple configuration.
The rear vehicle body structure comprises a rear deck member 6 stretched between upper portions of a pair of right and left quarter panels 5 in a rear vehicle body, and a pair of right and left wheel house inner panels 7 including a suspension mounting part 72 disposed below both ends of the rear deck member 6, and further comprises a pair of right and left gusset members 9 to connect a part in a vicinity of a suspension mounting part 72 in each wheel house inner panel 7 to the rear deck member 6. Each gusset member 9 is tilted inwardly in the vehicle width direction from the wheel house inner panel 7 side to the rear deck member 6 side.
