Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a receiver to operate by effectively setting a preset specific function which is made to be ineffective during normal operations when a prescribed operating condition is met in the case of receiving data.
SOLUTION: When a receiver receives data, a CPU collates the contents of time correcting information (real time data) which are the received data, received data addressed to its pager, and various kinds of internal processing data of the pager with each 'operating condition' item of a program operating condition table (shown in Fig.) stored in the operating condition memory 9m of a ROM. When such an 'operating condition' item that its condition is met exists, the CPU reads out the subprogram corresponding to the 'operating condition' item from the ROM and performs display control, information control, function expansion control, etc., which are not executed normally by actuating the various kinds of control based on the subprogram.
