Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely and efficiently perform the preset channel selection of both an RDS broadcast station and a non-RDS broadcast station.
CONSTITUTION: A specific code is written on the current memory area of data memory 17 as PI data when a preset station is the non-RDS broadcast station. While, a reception station is decided by selecting data stored in the home memory area of the data memory preferentially when the preset channel selection is performed, and also, the data stored in the current memory area is erased when the PI data stored in the area shows the specific code. When the preset station is the RDS broadcast station, a broadcast station with frequency supplied by reception frequency data or relational frequency data when the preset channel selection is performed and with satisfactory receiving state with which the PI data coincides is set as the reception station, and also, the data in the current memory area is updated.
