A tuning part 22 determines priority for tuning at a sub tuner part 16 across all channels. The sub tuner part 16, based on the priority, tunes in the channels in sequence other than the channel indicated by a user for tuning, and receives the content of data broadcasting of the selected channel as well as DII which controls the content. A section processing part 18 makes a hard disc drive 21 record the content received by the sub tuner part 16. A BML browser part 23, based on the content recorded on the hard disc drive 21, displays a data broadcasting screen.
