Abstract:

To reduce the amount of computation required for the detection of interference band.

A receiver comprises: a reference signal generator for generating a received reference signal obtained from a reference signal in which bit string generated at random is modulated in an equivalent power modulation manner and transmission line coefficients representing characteristics of transmission line between a transmission source of a desired wave and the receiver; an interference band detector for calculating an error power obtained by subtracting power of the received reference signal from power of received signal of each subcarrier and detecting an interference band which is a frequency band where an interference wave exists within a frequency band of a desired wave, based on the calculated error power; a band suppressor for suppressing the signal of the interference band detected by the interference band detector; and a decoder for decoding output signal from the band suppressor and obtaining a received bit string.
