Title:
RECEIVER WITH BATTERY VOLTAGE DETECTION FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04150625
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize low power consumption and to inform a fault of a battery, a battery service life and a charging state of the battery by using a notice element in common for a call notice element and implementing three kinds of different notice sets depending on number of times of blink of an LED and number of times of ringing of a buzzer or the like.

CONSTITUTION: Two detection levels are provided and a detection signal A is sent when an input level exceeds a detection level A and when the input level is less than a detection level B is sent to a CPU section 2 respectively. The CPU section 2 sends information to a notice section 3 based on the detection signals A, B only when a control signal from a power supply switch section 1 changes from the OFF to the ON state. The detection level A preset to a voltage comparator section 5 indicates a clue to full charging of a secondary battery and the detection level B depicts an operation warrant minimum voltage of the receiver. Thus, the charge state of the secondary battery and a fault of the battery or the like are noticed in the receiver employing the secondary battery as its power supply and the power consumption is suppressed.
