A receiving weight processing section performs array combination processing for multiplying a plurality of receiving signals in an array antenna by a plurality of receiving weights, respectively, and adding all of them to obtain a desired symbol. An equalizer 662 performs equalization processing on the desired symbol. An amplitude correction section 663 performs correction on the desired symbol after equalization processing, for canceling influences exerted upon an amplitude component of the desired symbol by the equalization processing and the array combination processing. A soft decision section 664 makes a soft decision on the desired symbol corrected by the amplitude correction section 663. An error correcting decoding section 665 performs error correcting decoding on a soft decision result in the soft decision section 664.
