Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a receptacle with a switch having high safety by providing a switch shaft and the switch turned on when the inserting terminal of a plug excited in the tip direction by a spring is completely connected to a connecting terminal.
CONSTITUTION: The insertion section 28 of a plug is inserted into a receptacle port 8, the flange section of an inserting terminal 30 is put on the connecting terminal 9 of a receptacle for complete connection. When the plug is further inserted, a switch shaft provided at the center of the receptacle is thrust, and a switch 13 is turned on. The terminal 30 is protruded from a plug substrate 26 while a coil spring is bent. When the plug is extracted, the tip section of the insertion section 28 is separated from the bottom section of the receptacle port 8, the switch shaft is extruded, and the excitation state of the switch 13 is cut off. The switch 13 is not excited while the terminals rub together to be connected or separated, and safety can be secured.
