Title:
RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0379360
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable high resolution high speed recording to be performed by a method wherein in the case where low wettable ink is stuck to a recording medium by passing it through a hole, an ink holder is formed by a screen produced from braided stainless steel wire.

CONSTITUTION: An ink holder 1 is a screen like material produced by plainly weaving stainless steel wire, and conductive ink is supplied to a mesh hole of the ink holder 1 with an ink supply roller 2. The ink holder 1 and recording paper 100 are put between the ink supply roller 2 and a surface of a platen 5. Then, when voltage is impressed between the ink supply roller 2 and an electrode 3 with a power source 4, since wettability to the ink holder 1 is low, electrostatic force acts on the ink which can not enter the mesh hole of the ink holder 1. The ink passes through the mesh hole to be stuck to the recording paper 100, and recording is performed. Thus, since the mesh is fine, high resolution high speed recording comes capable of being performed.
