Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently calculate a power amount of a recording head necessary for recording when a recording content has periodicity in a recording device.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a recording head having a plurality of nozzle arrays; a drive part which relatively moves the recording head and a recording medium in a direction intersecting a nozzle array direction of the plurality of nozzle arrays, and discharges a liquid on the recording medium from the plurality of nozzle arrays to record; and a control part which obtains drive power when the drive part drives in a period from recording data in which the drive power has the period when the drive part drives in discharging the liquid on the recording medium sequentially from nozzles of the plurality of nozzle arrays, and controls the drive part to reduce the drive power when the obtained drive power exceeds a predetermined threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
