Title:
RECORDING ELECTRODE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11115235
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To make easy adjustment of contact pressure possible for a recording electrode without allowing fogging and melting adhesion to be produced, by a method wherein a base film provided with a plurality of passing parts for passing charged bodies therethrough is curved, with the line of passing parts being its center, and constructed so that the contact pressure can be maximized at the passing parts.

A recording electrode 1 has a base film 2 made of insulating material, and a number of passing parts 4 each passing through the base film 2 are formed, being arranged in the longitudinal direction of the base film while control electrodes 3 are provided at the upside of the base film 2 so that each of the passing parts 4 is surrounded independently by each of the control electrodes. The base film 2 is formed in a shape wherein both sides thereof along the line of passing parts 4 are curved with the line being its center so that both sides are made to separate from a charged body supplying body (a toner carrying roller) and contact pressure can be maximized at the passing parts 4. The base film 2 is made from polymeric resin film made of material such as polyimide.
