PURPOSE: To provide a fuchsine-colored recording liquid of high homogeneity, highly stable for a long period, free from clogging in delivery olifice, suitable for ink-jet system and writing utensils, containing as water-soluble dye(s), both or either of C.I. Direct Red 226 and 54.
CONSTITUTION: The objective recording liquid comprising (A) as water-soluble dye(s), pref. 1W10wt% of C.I. Direct Red 226 and/or C.I. Direct Red 54, (B) 20W 50wt% of a water-soluble organic solvent (pref. diethylene glycol), and (C) water, and, pref., also, (D) a solubilizing agent such as N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone.
EFFECT: Capable of recording on various recording materials, having high setting rate, and giving printed images of excellent water, light and wear resistance and high resolving degree.
