PURPOSE: To realize still higher rotational accuracy to improve the recording density to a recording medium by preventing the vibration of a spindle motor as much as possible while downsizing and thinning the whole apparatus as much as possible.

CONSTITUTION: Respective fitted protrusions 12a, 12b projecting upward from the ring part of a ring member 11 are fitted into the circumferential gaps between the outer peripheral parts 14b1 of the core teeth 14b of a stator core 14. The top face of the ring part is in contact with the bottom faces of the outer peripheral parts 14b1. The annular parts between the ring part, outer peripheral parts 14b1 and fitted protrusions 12a, 12b and an annular base 14a are filled with a filling adhesive 17. The annular bases of substrate 2, annular base 14a, core teeth 14b, ring member 11, stator coils 16 and flexible circuit board are integrally fixed by the cured filling adhesive 17.
