Abstract:

To improve the assemblability of a case even when a security tag is provided within the case.

This recording tape cartridge 10 is provided with: a case 12 composed of an upper case 14 and a lower case 16 and housing a reel 20 with a recording tape T wound thereon; a columnar security tag 110 provided within the installation space 100 of the lower case 16 and capable of transmission to and reception from the outside; and a holding member 120 provided within the installation space 100 and having a presser part 122A for pressing the security tag 110 from the axial direction of the reel 20. The security tag 110 and the presser part 122A are arranged lower than the tip surfaces of wall parts 16B, 42, 107, and 108 constituting the installation space 100 of the lower case 16.
