Abstract:

PURPOSE: To recover sodium efficiently and continuously by cooling a large amount of inert gas including sodium vapour, making the sodium vapour into mist and processing the inert gas including sodium mist in trapping without increasing the mass of components.

CONSTITUTION: A sodium recovery device for sodium vapour in inert gas has a multitude type heat exchanger 20 to cool inert gas, and a mist trap 26 which is connected to the inert gas outlet 24 of the multitude type heat exchanger 20, and is provided with a mist filter 28 which has pipes 27 having bottom made of sintered metal and the like penetrable for inert gas, a sodium exhaust 34 at the bottom, and an inert gas outlet 33 on the upper wall.
