Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively collect and utilize the heat discharged from an electrical equipment, by practically combining a heat exchanger worked by the use of evaporating refrigerant liquid of low boiling point with facilities of using LNG. CONSTITUTION:Cooling liquid at a high temperature deriving from a cooling operation for a winding 2 of a rotary electric machine 1 is fed to an evaporator 9 by a pump 4 and returned to the rotary machine 1 after evaporating refrigerant liquid of low boiling point in the evaporator 9. The evaporated gas of low boiling point is fed to a turbine 12 that drives a generator and wastes its power to a power device 13. Exhaust gas from the turbine 12 is fed to a condenser 14, cooled by LNG, liquefied and collected. The condensed refrigerant liquid is pressurized by a refrigerant pump 10 and fed to the evaporator 9. A liquid level of the evaporator 9 is held at constant by a refrigerant control valve 11 to supply the refrigerant corresponding to its amount of evaporation to the evaporator 9. The LNG in a storage tank 16 is fed to the condenser 14 by an LNG pump 15, here permitted to absorb heat, vaporized and supplied as the fuel for an electric power generation boiler 17.
