PURPOSE: To prevent fracture of a printed display due to expansion or contraction of a container from occurring by a method wherein a recessed spot for printing which sinks inward from the peripheral surface is provided on the outer periphery of a body part, and the drawn in-surface degree of orientation of the recessed spot for printing is specified, and a display pattern is printed on this recessed spot for printing.
CONSTITUTION: The title container is a polyester resin self-standing container with weighted bottom 1 which is drawing-blow molded by a heating temperature of 90 - 120°C and heat set temperature of 70 - 150°C. On the outer periphery of a body part 2, a recessed spot for sprinting 4 which sinks inward from the peripheral surface is provided, and the drawn in-surface degree of orientation (l+m) of the recessed spot for printing is made to be 0.1 - 0.5, and on this recessed spot for printing, a display pattern is printed. Therefore, expansion/ contraction of a container which is formed by drawing-blow molding can be made smaller. By this method, a fracture of the printed display due to expansion or contraction of the container can be prevented from occurring, and collection and recycling of the polyester resin container becomes possible.
