Abstract:
To provide a reducing agent of a small dense low density lipoprotein (small dense LDL) in blood, capable of reducing the small dense LDL in the blood without reducing the low density lipoprotein (LDL).
This reducing agent of the small dense LDL in the blood is provided by containing a 20-36C higher aliphatic alcohol as an active ingredient. This can be widely utilizable as a medicine or food useful for the prevention or improvement of arteriosclerosis or in a wider sense, for the improvement of metabolic syndrome.
