Abstract:
To provide a reduction gear provided with a lubricant splashing up mechanism (lubricant supply mechanism) eliminating agitation loss of lubricant and capable of coping with various gear ratio with keeping compactness.
A hollow input shaft 112 penetrating through a reduction gear mechanism K1 and rotating at high speed is provided. Centrifugal force is given to lubricant by rotation of a rotary member 126A inserted through an inside of the input shaft 112 and capable of rotating as one unit with the input shaft 112. Lubricant is splashed up by converting the centrifugal force to upward motion thrust force.
