Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for stabilizing alkylene bis-dithiocarbamate.
CONSTITUTION: The alkylene bis-dithiocarbamate is mixed, the presence of water, with hydroxymethane sulfinate which degrades to formaldehyde to reduce the alkylene thiourea content in the alkylene bis-dithiocarbamate and to retard the formation of the alkylene thiourea.
