Title:
REFERENCE ELECTRODE DEVICE, AND FIXING METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005179725
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a reference electrode device for measuring the water resisting potential of a steel structure, which can be easily installed in the prescribed position of a steel structure, and allows a reference electrode to be easily exchanged.

The reference electrode device has a reference electrode and a magnet arranged in a casing, and a lead wire for a reference electrode is electrically connected to the reference electrode at the inside of the casing. By adhering the magnet to a steel structure, the reference electrode device is installed in the prescribed position of the steel structure, and by electrically connecting the lead wire for a reference electrode and the steel structure to a potential measuring apparatus, the water resisting potential of the steel structure can be measured. Preferably, the device is costituted so that a lead wire for a magnet is electrically connected to the magnet therein, and the lead wire for a reference electrode and the lead wire for a magnet are electrically connected to the potential measuring apparatus, thus the water resisting potential of the steel structure can be measured. Further, the device is preferably constituted so that the reference electrode is arranged freely attachably/detachably to the casing, and, when the reference electrode is attached to the casing, the reference electrode and the lead wire for a reference electrode can be electrically connected.
