PURPOSE: To increase the wide angle reflection characteristics through the reduction in unnecessary radiation, by providing an electromagnetic wave absorbing body in curved surface, along the shape of beam from a feeding horn or the beam reflected on a mirror surface.
CONSTITUTION: A focusing reflection mirror 3 is an elliptic mirror having foci of points F1, F2. Further, the point F1 is in coincidence with the center of phase of a feeding horn 4, and the electromagnetic waves from this F1 are narrowed down at the point F2 as shown in dotted lines, allowing to obtain a diameter as smaller as possible without the interference of electromagnetic waves forming the main beam toward a main reflecting mirror 1. Further, since the component of electromagnetic waves forming the main beam is spread as the waves parts from the point F2, the diameter without interference is increased. When the curved surface with the diameter which is sequentially increased is taken as the absorbing body, the diffractive waves contributing unnecessary radiation from the edges A1, A2∼ of the mirror 3 can be removed by the body 9, as A1, P1', A2, P2'∼.
